Resembles the Barc sac spider Clubiona corticalis, but is clearly smaller.
Female 4 to 6 mm.
very light brown to reddish brown with a light brown fringed dark and light brown chevrons behind this.
brownish to greenish with a light band around.
Legs and pale yellow-brown.
Male 3 to 5 mm.
Markings almost identical to the female, but often darker.
In low plants and shrubs and under bark. Also on the ground in moss and under stones. Up to 1,500 m.
Common in the whole of Europe.
Spring and summer.
