Female 7 to 9 mm.
brown with a light brown median band which contains a fairly long, pointed, dark brown .
brown with a broad light brown median band and a light brown band along the edge.
Legs and brown.
Male 6 to 7.5 mm.
Markings and colours almost identical to the female, but with more contrast. The of pair of legs are greatly swollen and black.
Sunny, open places, including heathlands, forest edges, etc.
Quite common in the whole of Europe.
Spring and summer.
