Female 5.5 to 7 mm.
black with a white or yellow band on the front and white or yellow spots on top that sometimes can be merged.
Legs and alternating black and reddish brown.
Male 3 to 6 mm.
Markings and colours almost identical to the female.
In dry, sunny areas in sparse vegetation. In the mountains up to 2,600 m.
Common in the whole of Europe.
Spring, summer and autumn.
