Description of Drassyllus lutetianus

Physical Characteristics

Female 5 to 7.5 mm.
Abdomen dark brown to black-brown.
Carapace dark brown to black-brown.
Legs dark brown to black-brown with light brown metatarsi and tarsi.
Palps dark brown to black-brown.

Male 5 to 6 mm.
Markings and colours almost identical to the female.

Habitat

Humid areas, e.g. marshy meadows, riverbanks and marshes.

Distribution

Occurs in almost the whole of Europe, but quite rare.

Period

Summer.
