Description of Clubiona terrestris

Physical Characteristics

Female 6 to 8 mm.
Abdomen shiny light reddish brown with slightly lighter sides and a faint cardiac mark.
Carapace shiny light yellow-brown. Anteriorly a bit darker. Chelicerae dark brown to black.
Legs shiny light yellow-brown.

Male 5 to 7 mm.
Markings and colours almost identical to the female.

Habitat

In various areas on low vegetation and between stones.

Distribution

Common in almost the whole of Europe.

Period

All year.
