Description of Euryopis episinoides

Physical Characteristics

Female 2.5 to 3.5 mm.
Abdomen remarkably pointed shaped. Colour dark reddish brown to black.
Carapace reddish brown to black.
Legs and palps orange-red to black with dark red joints.

Male 2 to 3 mm.
Markings and colours almost identical to the female.

Habitat

In several sparsely vegetated areas, also in forests.

Distribution

Occurs in the Mediterranean area, but not common.

Period

Summer.
