Description of Phlegra bresnieri

Physical Characteristics

Female approximately 5 mm.
Abdomen dark brown to black with a white median band and two white bands along the side.
Carapace dark brown to black with two white bands on top and a white band around which runs underneath the anterior eyes.
Legs and palps light brown without annulations.

Male approximately 4 mm.
Markings as female, but basic colour black and white band underneath the eyes very broad. Legs entirely black and palps with white hairs on top and black at the ends.

Habitat

Warme rotsachtige gebieden en tuinen.

Distribution

In Zuid-Europa algemeen voorkomend.

Period

Het exemplaar op de foto is gevonden in juni. Verder geen details over de periode bekend.
