Description of Cheiracanthium striolatum

Physical Characteristics

Female approximately 10 mm.
Abdomen light brown with a dark brown cardiac mark and slanting, dark brown stripes at the rear.
Carapace dark brown with a very thin, slightly darker median band.
Legs and palps light brown.

Male size unknown.
Markings and colours almost identical to the female.

Habitat

In plants in warm areas.

Distribution

Occurs in Europe only in the western Mediterranean.

Period

Spring and early summer.
