Description of Lepthyphantes leprosus

Physical Characteristics

Female 2.5 to 6 mm.
Abdomen yellow-brown to reddish brown with black chevrons and numerous small white spots.
Carapace dark reddish brown.
Legs and palps yellow-brown with faint dark annulations.

Male 2.5 to 3.5 mm.
Markings and colours almost identical to the female.

Habitat

Mainly in buildings and houses. Sometimes outside as well.

Distribution

Common in the whole of Europe.

Period

All year.
