Description of Pardosa schenkeli

Physical Characteristics

Female 4.5 mm.
Abdomen dark brown with a light-grey median band and cardiac mark and light grey sides.
Carapace black-brown with a light-grey median band and a double light grey band along the side.
Legs and palps light grey. Down to the tips more brownish.

Male 4 to 4.5 mm.
Markings and colours almost identical to the female.

Habitat

On rock faces between 1500 and 2500 m.

Distribution

Occurs in Central, Eastern and Northern Europe. Rare.

Period

The portrayed specimen has been found in July. No further information about the period is known.
