Description of Lepthyphantes minutus

Physical Characteristics

Female 3.5 to 6 mm.
Abdomen brown with oblique black spots and numerous small white spots.
Carapace dark brown.
Legs and palps clearly light-dark annulated.

Male 3 to 4.5 mm.
Resembles the female, but the pattern on the abdomen is less clear.

Habitat

In forests under bark and burrows inside trees. Sometimes also in buildings.

Distribution

Common in the whole of Europe.

Period

All year.
