Description of Philodromus vagulus

Physical Characteristics

Female 7 mm.
Abdomen light brown to dark brown with a light median band and light horizontal stripes.
Carapace grey-brown with a broad, light median band.
Legs and palps light brown to grey-brown with light and dark annulations.

Male 4 tot 6 mm.
Characteristics unknown.

Habitat

Mainly in alpine meadows and along mountain streams above 2,000 m..

Distribution

Occurs in almost the whole of Europe, but rare. In alpine regions locally common.

Period

Summer.
