Description of Holocnemus caudatus

Physical Characteristics

Female approximately 5 mm.
Abdomen remarkably long and with a clear point at the back. Colour silvery grey with a dark median band and thin slanting stripes along the side.
Carapace pale with a dark median band.
Legs yellowish with white annulations above the joints.
Palps yellowish.

Male approximately 5 mm.
Markings and colours almost identical to the female. Palps yellow-orange.

Habitat

Rocky areas.

Distribution

Spain and Portugal.

Period

The portrayed specimen has been found in June. No further information about the period is known.
