Female 7 to 10 mm.
light brown to brown with a row of contiguous dark brown spots on top and small dark spots along the sides.
Legs and light-dark annulated.
Male 6 to 9 mm.
Markings and colours almost identical to the female.
Mainly under tree bark. Also in wall crevices and under stones.
Common in the whole of Europe.
