Description of Eusparassus walckenaeri

Physical Characteristics

Female 17 to 25.5 mm.
Abdomen beige to orange-brown with a light cardiac mark and a pattern of dark spots and chevrons.
Carapace beige to orange-brown with a pattern of dark spots.
Legs beige to orange-brown with clear dark annulations.
Palps beige to orange-brown.

Male 13.5 to 20.5 mm.
Markings and colours almost identical to the female.

Habitat

Semi-dry areas under stones.

Distribution

Greece, Turkey and possibly Italy.

Period

Almost all year.
