Female 3 to 5 mm.
brown with a pattern of light and dark spots and stripes.
dark brown with light stripes and spots and a rearwardly tapering light median band.
Legs light brown with dark annulations and spots.
Male 2.5 to 3 mm.
Resembles the female but is much darker and less clearly patterned.
In not too dry environments, like gardens and forests, between rocks and low vegetation.
Common in the whole of Europe.
Almost all year.
