Female 3 to 4 mm. Markings and colour variable. Sometimes the spider can be entirely yellow or white.
Abdomen white with light yellow spots.
Carapace pale with a faint median band.
Legs and palps pale.
Male 3 to 3.5 mm.
Abdomen pale yellow with black-brown spots.
Carapace pale with a thin dark median band and thin dark band along the edge.
Legs pale with broad black-brown annulations above the joints.
Palps pale with black-brown tarsi.
In warm areas in plants and shrubs.
Common in Southern and Central Europe. Not in the north.
